Have you ever wanted to stick your TOE in to test the waters of sock knitting? In this class, Jennifer Hallan (our SHORTest instructor) will WALK you through the STEPS needed to make the super fun Shorty Socks by Summer Lee--perfect for the Atlanta heat. You'll learn the basics of cuff down sock knitting. Students should know how to knit/purl, do simple decreases (k2tog, ssk) and work in the round. If you have taken any of our hat or cowl classes, you are good to go!

1 hank fingering weight yarn (such as Malabrigo Ultra Sock or one of our Indie Dyer sock yarns)

CIRCULAR NEEDLES
US Size 1 needles (32” or longer circular for Magic Loop)—note, we strongly recommend Chiaogoo because of their flexibility

Materials for the class must be bought at The Craftivist. Students will receive a 10% discount on the cost of supplies for the class.

Class Policies: Payment guarantees your spot in the class. Payment may be made in the store, over the phone, or through our website. Unless noted, supplies are not included in the class fee. Yarn must be purchased at The Craftivist. Students receive a 10% discount on materials purchased for the class. 

Cancellations: If you need to cancel your registration, store credit will be given for cancellations up to 7 days prior to the beginning of a class; no refunds will be given if the cancellation is less than 7 days. Refunds are not given for missed classes.

If we do not fill our class minimum the class will be cancelled and students will be issued a full refund. We will notify students of class cancellations at least 24 hours before the first class.
